Bou-Sasuri Mela Organized in Mithipur union…

Rangpur Correspondent: Mithipur Union Health and Family well fare center and World Mission Prayer League LAMB hospital (LAMB) under Born On Tome project have organized a Bou-sasuri fair. The objective of day long fair is to improve Mother in law and daughter in law relationship, Mail engagement in dally family mater. The main focus area of the fair is to stop preterm birth, increase institutional normal vaginul delivery, Gender equity. The message for the mother in law, “please well behave with you daughter in law, please motivate and participate for the antenatal checkup in UH&FWC for your beloved daughter in law.” At the same time please take better care for your daughter in law. 2 February 2020 The fair open by the Upazial Nirbahi Officer Mr. T M A Mamin, In this Mala Chaired  chairman Mr. S M Faruq Ahmed. In each Union Health and Family well fare center 2 Community skill birth attendant standby to ensure 24/7 normal vaginul delivery. The female community health worker visit door to door to motivate pregnant woman to visit UH&FWC for ANC. The male community health worker motivate father and would be father to help their wife for day to day home management and deliver message for safe delivery. That’s why the quality of service is increased day by day. Even when a daughter in law become pregnant, then their mother in law take intensive care for them. After that when the expected date of delivery become closer, then female community health worker & community skill birth attend follow up the respective pregnant lady and male community health worker also follow up the father to ensure institutional delivery. In Mithipur Union Health and Family well fare center they conducted 127 successful normal delivery in the year 2019. In the fair valuable speech delivered by respective Upazila Welfare Officer  Mr.Arifur Rahman, Mothergonj Degree Collage Principal Shek Dabir Uddin Ahmed & Mr. Iftekhar Alam (TC-Born on Time-LAMB).

In the fair respective Field Coordinator Mr. Abul Bashar, Md. Samsul Islam (Born on Time-LAMB), all the union porishod member, UH&FWC management community, Family planning inspector, family planning visitor, mother-daughter in law. Adolescent, guardian, father and five hundreds of people also present and enjoy.

The fair authority also arrange pillow through, musical chair, cloth dressing & quiz competition. At the end, some token gift also given. Finally TFD show arrange for the audience.
